Quik for Desktop meets requirements but does not play H.265 videos

Hi

 

Yeh so after a bit of researching and fiddling around. I thnk the problem is the application

 

I am running quik for desktop on a new Surface Book 2:

i7-8650U kaby lake 8th gen CPU

GTX 1050

16GB ram

 

Windows 10 x 64 Fall creators

 

I have also installed the h,265 codec from the Microsoft Store

 

Rebooted

 

Imported H.265 encoded videos to it, but they play like crap still

my hardware meets all the requirements you have stated

Thank you for the information that you provided. he system requirements are met by your computer so it is odd that there is still an issue with accessing HEVC files.
