Quik editing issues on Samsung

I have a Samsung S8 and a GoPro Hero 6. Capturing videos on 1080 @ 120fps and everything is up to date. I'm able to import the videos into Quik but the issues start when I begin to edit the video. It only plays for 2 seconds before freezing and the scroll bar continues to roll right. The biggest issue I'm having is trying to trim the video and taking the video off Smart cuts. I would like to trim the video but it's hard to do if the video doesn't play and I can't determine where it starts and ends. This is getting really frustrating bc im trying to trim several videos at a time. I'm almost at the point of returning everything and going another directing with an action camera. Does anyone have ANY suggestions? Thanks!

There are issues on Samsung devices with multiple high resolution videos that causes stutter in transitions, it's a hardware/software video decoding thing and we're looking at solutions but not easy

I am having all these same issues with Quik on my new samsung S9+ Please find a fix A.S.A.P all I use is Gopro Quik.
