Quik Key video transfer

I’m trying figure out a way to transfer videos from my GoPro Hero 5 directly to my iPhone 5s iOS 12.1, but there’s a catch. It is crucial to my work flow that I am able to import only a part of a 4GB clip (which is how longer videos are divided because of FAT32 or whatever). I know that GoPro has the ability to create smaller clips on the camera itself, but the maximum length is 30 seconds. I often want 1 minute clips or more since that is the Instagram maximum. I have researched many possibilities including the Quik Key and other third party SD to lightning adapters, but non of them have any clear indication that I could trim a 4GB file on the card to the desired length before importing or select a desired length to import to my iPhone. It seems that the only way to import videos directly to my iPhone is to import the entire file. Does anyone have any advice for achieving this? Will purchasing a Quik Key allow me to do this? Please help!

Hi @swiftbluff80071

You may trim the file prior to transferring it to your phone via the GoPro app.

You may also use the Quik Key.

For reference, you may also check: Supported Resolutions for Copy and Share in the GoPro App

Thanks!
