Please try these troubleshooting steps:
- Reset your camera's software by following the instructions here to make sure you are on the latest version.
- Confirm you are on the latest version of GoPro App by re-downloading through the App Store.
- Save your files to a computer, then erase/format your SD card and take some test footage and try again. Please also ensure you are using a reliable SD card by taking a look at our recommended list here.

They might have a resolution for that.

ive tried on am iPad, iPad Pro, iPhoneX iPhone 6S. All the same. I get blank thumbnails for everything. Photos and videos. I haven’t done as much testing as yourself. But your bad list seems to match what I usually use. I took pics on both a session 5 and GoPro hero black.
