Ok GoPro, I'm hoping you can help resolve a significant shortcoming in the Quik mobile app. I'm utilizig the Quik app and for some reason, mid edit, the app will close out of editing and return to the home screen (screenshot attached).
When I go to select a video for editing it will open for maybe a second to the editing screen and then return to the home again. I have tried all suggestions in the forum, restart, clearing memory even re-installing.
Yes, this meant I needed to create a new video several times. My phone is current flagship and I believe has more than enough power, memory for the job.
Most of the GoPro sponsored fixes include changing parts of the video (shorten video, change filter, change something small).
All things I can't possibly do as I'm unable to get into the editing screen. Please fix this issue. Without Quik, the Hero 7 Black I purchased is worthless to me.

What phone are you using?
Do you have everything up to date?
Have you tried working on a different phone? Does the same happen?
What resolution are these videos on? Are you adding photos?
See if clearing the cache will help. **DO NOT to include DATA.
