I have gopro Plus, A hero 6, and an iphone. I recently did a video at my dropzone with my gopro and took some KILLER shots... SUPER impressed with the quality of video from the hero6. HOWEVER! Im trying to use quick more, and take it far more serious when uploading to major media sources like YouTube and Facebook.... and the quality on anything but a smartphone is terrible. It seems its 1080p for the size of a phone and if made larger looks horrible.
Is support coming out that will allow the video export for IOS to look as stunning on my desktop at full screen as it does on my hand held device? because THAT spells the difference of "quick" videos on the fly Vs. uploading everything end editing on final cut.
If the support isn't there im not sure why im really paying for plus. THAT.... and please fix the quick app for high sierra so I can use it. Currently it will not load the music.

Thanks for writing.
Facebook and YouTube both compress videos exported from our apps. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do about this on our end.
For Facebook: Go to Settings > Upload HD, and check that option On. It’s Off by default on mobile.
For YouTube: Default/customized upload settings only affect videos uploaded through your desktop web browser on youtube.com/upload. If you upload videos through our app, or others, they won’t respect your default settings. So I'd suggest uploading from a desktop computer if you have the option.
With GoPro Plus, videos and photos are stored at up to 1440p and 12MP, regardless of their original resolution.
I hope this is helpful.
