No app connection with Huawei P20 Pro [ New ]

Hi,

I can not connect my GoPro app with my Huawei P20 Pro. No connection.... but why?
With Apple it was also not easy, but OK.... and now the app has a bug?!

Anything else who has this problem??

Is this the first time that you are connecting your phone with the camera? There was a recently released version of the GoPro App. Please make sure that you have it installed. Then, check the steps below for additional troubleshooting: 

• Delete the Bluetooth ID from your device settings
• Remove the camera from the menu in the GoPro App 
• Forget the Wi-Fi on your mobile device 
• Reset the Wi-Fi on our camera 
• Lower the Wi-Fi band setting on your camera (HERO6 and Fusion only)

I have exactly the same Problem on my Huawei P20 Pro and Hero 7 Black with Android APP. Are there some known Bugs?

Is this the same case even with the latest GoPro App version? Are you getting any particular error message? Have you been able to try out recommended troubleshooting steps? How did it go? Hope to hear back from you.

Lowering the WI-Fi frequency to 2.4 GHz solved my connection problem between my HUAWEI P20 lite and  my HERO 7 Black camera.

Although, I am still struggling with the live feed feature because once I hit GoLIve phone and camera disconnet.

Glad that the workaround got your camera connected.

In reference to the live stream, are you given any error message?

Are you using Wi-Fi or personal hotspot?

Have you also tested live streaming with a different phone?
