New GoPro session keeps disconnecting from the app!!!

I got a new session for Christmas, but having non stop trouble with it and the app through the awful WiFi connection.... it’ll stay connected as I’m browsing or watching footage for up to a minute then they just disconnect and then the GoPro just turns it self on and off bleeping until I select exit on the camera. Really frustrating and not impressed!!

And yes I’ve done everything GoPro help says to do, kill apps forget WiFi, reboot cam etc etc so annoying, also can’t watch a time lapse as takes about 2 hours for it to load on my iPhone 6 is this normal?

It should definitely not take 2 hours for it to load. I would run through these steps on more time then get in touch with our Support Team.

Hi Ryan I did see that message you last wrote, but haven’t even bothered to use the thing until today were I thought I would try get some footage... turns out it was a waste of time.

Again the go pro turns itself off and on and off and on non stop until I hold the off button.

The screen freezes.... it does it own thing... the WiFi connects and disconnects. It will beep for hours if I don’t force it to turn off.

Now you have to remember my dear girlfriend bought this an Xmas present for me and from the day I un packed it has always been **bleep** if I was to put it bluntly.

I’m disgraced by it for the money, it is awful... either that or I’ve been sold a faulty camera.

This was brand new bought through very.com here in the u.k and extremely big company... but now I’ve chucked the packaging ( still have proof of purchase ) and dates.

For a multi billion pound company like yourselfs I think I deserve a replacement, it’s so bad. That was bought for our trip to Sri Lanka in 3 weeks now. And it doesn’t work, please do not say check out our support pages... because they’re useless and do not fix and faulty gadget camera made by robots.

I’m peed off... and because I’ve heard so much of your customer service being awful I have no faith in a reply let alone a replacement. Never again will I recommended one of these dodgy session cams with a mind of its own.!
