i wonder, if this app was ever tested before release. I was happy with the old version. Now there are some major bugs included - so the app is useless for me. Maybe it works with other cams, but not with the Hero 4 Session.
- the Protune exposure compensation control is still useless. There are only 3 values selectable. (-2.0, +1.0, +2.0)
- the selected video resolution in the app does not always correspond to the recorded video resolution on camera. (1080p selected, the camera recorded 960x540)
- the photo resolution shows up 12 MP in the app. The Hero 4 Session is only capable of 8 MP???
Please fix it.

I'm very sorry to hear about the trouble with the Capture App. I was trying my HERO Session out with the App on an iPhone 6 and I see what you are saying with the 12MP photo option, though I am able to choose all 9 exposure compensation values: -2, -1.5, -1, -0.5, 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5, and 2.
As for the resolution being downgraded, where are you seeing the recording as 960p? Did you view it on your computer and see that?

the exposure compensation control does not work on my iPhone 5s and it also does not work on my iPad 4. Both devices are on iOS Release 10.0.2. I´ve mentioned the resolution downgrade with the older Capture version, released before October 7th. I have not used the new release after seeing these obvious bugs, so i installed an alternate app from the AppStore. Here is a screen record of my iPhone 5s --> https://www.dropbox.com/s/khhalsn03q40p9m/Capture.mp4?dl=0
It´s not working as expected. Maybe it depends on screen language....?

From the video you shared it looks like the Capture App made by GoPro. It's an alternate app you said, though? If that's the case, I'd highly recommend updating your iOS on the device to the latest version and then making sure Capture and the camera are fully up to date as well. If the App was obtained elsewhere, I'd suggest deleting it and downloading the official version from the App store.

Hi again @cooldusk00242,
A quick update here. I just updated the Capture App to the latest version in the App Store and it appears the issue with the EV Comp values has been resolved as well as the photo resolution shown in the App.
I just tested the resolution out also and it accurately reflects 1080p which I chose with the App and filmed through the App.
