Media transfer from Gopro Hero 9 to iPad App failure

[ New ]

When transferring/viewing media from my new GoPro Hero 9 to my iPad Pro App, during the first transfer I get a red exclamation icon "Item Failed".

Ex: GH00009.MP4

Failed: Connection Lost

I always have to redo the media transfer and the second time it works without failing.

Can anyone help with this?

@gazzae, please try to unpair and re-pair your camera to the app. Please make sure that your mobile device has sufficient storage space available. Additionally, some phones and regions require the camera to be in a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band, you may also try this out.

Hi @aaronc3232

Do you get the same when transferring photos?

If you haven't yet, try resetting the connections.

Tap the pencil icon in the top-left corner of the Camera menu page.
Tap the red X icon to delete the camera entry from your app’s history.
Delete the GoPro camera under the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi entries in your mobile device’s settings before attempting to re-pair to your GoPro.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks!

Ej

I am having the same problem since updating to 1.5 firmware, worked fine before this. I have deleted everything on both my iPhone X and iPad Pro and still fails every time I try and upload media to the app. Can't use it until this gets fixed!!
