Listen to audio that is recording

I’m just wondering, haven’t been able to find an answer, but while using the GoPro app can I hear what I’m recording through headphones connected to my phone if I start recording with the app? My microphone likes to work intermittently and I don’t find out till after I’m done recording my ride. It would definitely cut down on the frustration of loading the video just to find out my audio messed up and not really having the energy to want to redo the video

Hi @bluestorm42527,

Sorry to know that.

No, you can't hear what you are recording.

How do you set up the Mic and what Mic are you using?

Regards,

Re: Listen to audio that is recording

I have a replacement mic for a Sena because it cuts out the most wind in my helmet and that’s plugged into a 1.5 to 3.5mm mono cord that plugs into a stereo converter that goes in the mic adapter for the session five. The stereo converter is usually the weak point it seems. Also I really need to upgrade to a better laptop with better editing software. If I had that I’d just copy and paste the mono signal to both channels and call it good.
