Following up on an email response I received from the email@example.com...
I have 2 Silver Hero 3+ cameras and both exhibit the same behavior after updating to the latest GoPro App version 5.0
I’ve updated both cameras to latest Wi-Fi and Firmware from the website
Screen capture is attached from the GoPro App version 5.0 on my iPhone
- My Video Resolution Default is set to WVGA - Cannot be changed
- Unable to change FPS - This was not the case in previous version
- Unable to change Field Of View…. Remains on WIDE and this is the only option… This was not the case in previous version
Upside Down setting seems to work but the setting is not reflected in the settings menu.
- Set upside down and close
- Open settings again and it is back to off
This all worked great in the last version of the iPhone app…. Unfortunately I’ve updated and now I am state of very limited use.
Is there any way of getting the older version of the app back. I would be happy with that and never update again : (

Thank you for the details that you provided. We are not able to provide an older version of the app. We have brought this matter to the team in charge. We will keep you updated.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app already?
If you already did please try to contact our customer support via phone or chat.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the iphone app version 5 at leat two or three times with exact same result.
Another User indicates that the settings are applied but not reflected in the app, I am not experiencing this. App just simply does not respect the seetings for my Silver Hero 3+ cameras.Total bummer and pretty much a limited product at this point using the iphone app version 5.
I will try to call your customer support.

I did a manual firmware update, Latest from website, (I beleive it is 3.2.0? Don't have the camera with me right now) to both Silver Hero 3+ cameras on Sunday and still had the problem. I will try again tonight.
What is the latest firmware version you are suggesting and best location to pull this down?
To reply to a previous post on the camera settins updating but just not sticking in the App... This Is not what I am experiencing.
Example... Field of View only allows a "Wide" selection in the app so there is no way to change that. I've tried multiple differnet methods to change this and I am stuck with current setting using the App
