Desktop app does not work at all.
I have only tried the mobile app once and it also failed to upload to FB. Mobile app is on iPhone X, I personally do not use the mobile app for editing. I am a photographer so I use my IMac so I can actually see what I am doing and ensure my content is clean.
I do not have this problem at all with my Sony XR0 nor my A7lll DLSR which use the same app but are two different performs.
Sorry, just my opinion here but, if GoPro is going to market their Hero 7 and other products as working flawlessly and conveniently with the apps, maybe it should actually work with the provided apps, especially if one is paying for plus.
GoPro and the apps are the product here, not just the camera, or at least that's what they are advertising, both need to work or stop marketing it that way, its misleading. If what you're selling doesn't work as advertised, you fix it or you stop selling it as such. Fact is, their apps are failing to live up to their own hype and this thread and many like it is all the proof they need to know that they need to fix it.

Sorry for the trouble, @nikstehtic12. We still do not have an update for the Quik for desktop sharing feature. In the meantime, you may explore other programs that can be used to view and edit your GoPro media. You may also check out the Quik for mobile app. Here's how to create a video using the app. Hope this helps!

Are you referencing the Desktop app or the Mobile app? The mobile app works fine. I honestly don't know about the desktop app because, like most people, I don't use it, especially for uploading to social media.
