I can download the app on my desktop from Amazon but it shows "not compatible" with my Fire 8 tablet. Are there other options to connect to a tablet other than pulling the SD card?

Aside form using the SD card directly, the only other option is to connect the camera through the GoPro App. What is the operating system of your Fire 8 tablet?
