Any best guidelines out there?
I don't always like using the quick story editor.. So it's nice to save the video, edit and upload. Appears great on my phone (Android, LGV30).. Likely happening in the transfer?

Hi @gearedup
When uploading your video to Facebook/YouTube, you might notice loss in video quality. This is because both applications compress the video in the upload process.
To help with this, tap the gear icon in the top right corner of the app and activate the 'Save videos in 1080p HD'.
If you upload a 1080p video, you also need to activate the 'Upload HD' option in your Facebook app. This is off by default on mobile.
Also, our users have experienced that uploading videos from a desktop computer gives higher quality than uploading from a mobile device. To do this, save the video to your computer. Once there, upload your Quik video to Facebook or YouTube from your desktop computer for better quality.
Thanks!
Ej

Hi @gearedup
Are all files taken from a GoPro camera?
Did you still remember the resolution/fps used?
It will be best if you are able to share a sample file so we can assess the issue further.
For reference, you can also check this article :What File Types Are Supported In Quik for mobile?
Thanks!

Yes I am using a Hero7 Black.
Resolution was 2.7k and 4k, fps was 60fps when shooting the video portion and 30x when Timewarp mode in use. It seems like it's when I upload it to share the resolution just goes to crap :(.

Would not let me attach the MP4 file, I have it posted on a FB page though if you wouldn't mind.
