Hero 8 Black - Android app - Wifi issue [ New ]

Hi, 

recently bought the Hero ¨8 Black.

Installed the Gopro app on my android phone (android 8.0.0, Samsung S7 edge)

Connection works, I can control the Camera BUT I cannot activate the preview NOR access the camera footage.

I tried on a more recent phone Android 10 Samsung S9 Edge and it works fine

Also tried on an Ipad and it works fine.

Why is it not working on my S7 edge ?

I tried to restart phone and Camera.

Made sure I had latest camera firmware and gopro app version

tried to reinstall the gopro app

Tried to access Gopro's wifi straight from wifi menu but I cannot see it listed.

Try switching 5Ghz wifi to 2.4 Ghz (Preferences -> Connections -> Wi-Fi Band), worked for my Pixel 2 phone.

Yep, bought one today and same problem, my Google Pixel 2 cannot access media or use live view, while my Motorola One (100EUR phone) works perfectly fine...

Indeed I've been able to connect manually on the Gopro's wifi.

Now it's working. Can't believe it's that complicated lol
