Clips when downloaded onto my iPad through the GoPro app, if downloaded as a batch, download the last file first and the first file last in my photos app. Very annoying when it comes to editing. Is there a way of changing this? Or do I have to download each file separately?

If you want your contents to be sorted out in a specific order, I understand that downloading each file separately can be kind of tedious process.
I replicated this on my end, and it seems that this is how the application is currently designed. The contents (more than one file) downloaded through the GoPro App will be sorted out in chronological order (old down to recent) based on the date and time that the videos / photos were taken, not the date and time they were downloaded into your mobile device. However, downloading the contents one-by-one will sort out the files based on the download date / time.
Thank you for sharing. I'll pass this information along to the team.

Yeah, it would make more sense for them to be downloaded in the order that they were shot (oldest first, to the newest). Or even better if it was by the date and time they were shot. That tends to be the way I sort through to reference and edit my content. But maybe others use it differently.
I just find the download process a little tedious as I have to download one file at a time to get them in order. If I do the batch process, it orders them on my iPad so that the newest file (last file shot) is the first file and the oldest file (first file shot) is the last file. I think your process is giving you a different sort.
Thank you for looking into this. Is it a setting in the app that is making mine sort in reverse?

Here is a photo of the download after selecting all of the photos/video. Notice how the largest file number is the one on the top and the first to download. That is why my files are all backwards. Just wondering if there is a setting I have wrong.

Apologies for the confusion. This is actually correct, @davidw4177.
On the GoPro App's Media List, the contents will list down the files with the newest on top (based on date/time when the video or photo was taken) as shown on my device's screen below.
When download starts on the GoPro App, the files will be listed down accordingly regardless of the order when you selected the items.
Once saved into your device (Photos App), the contents will still be sorted out in the same order when they were downloaded.

Is there any way of making a suggestion to GoPro to make it an option which way the content is sorted? Or at least have it sorted in the order it was shot once downloaded? It would be extremely helpful. While traveling, I can shoot a lot of content and having to download one video at a time to maintain the order it was shot in makes it time consuming.
Having the content on your device in the same timeline as it was shot does sound logical, does it not?
