GoPro (teilweise?) verbunden - aber "nicht ganz" ....

Guten Tag!

 

Ich habe soeben mehrmals versucht meine GoPro7 white mit meinem zweiten, ebenfalls Android-Handy (Samsung S7) zu koppeln. Das hat grundsätzlich auch geklappt und sogar der individuelle Name meiner GoPro wurde korrekt erkannt, was für mein Dafürhalten auf einen vorerst, richtigen Kopplungsvorgang hindeutet. Der letztendliche Kopplungs-Abschluss dauert jedoch immer minutenlang und kann nicht efolgreich abgeschlossen werden!

 

Zudem kann ich dann auch logischerweise keinerlei Medien vom Gerät abrufen, da stets eine Kopplung versucht wird und in der Folge die Meldung erscheint "GoPro nicht verbunden".

 

Einerseits habe ich das Gerät nun bereits mehrmals komplett aus der App gelöscht, die App als Solche komplett gelöscht und auch die GoPro7 auf Werkseinstellung zurückgesetzt. Ohne Erfolg.

 

Mit meinem anderen Handy (Samsung S8) gibt es keinerlei Probleme. Ich habe das S8 bei der Kopplung mit dem S7 auch stets komplett ausgeschaltet, um keine (bestehenden) Verbindungen zu stören, jedoch auch dies brachte bislang keinen Erfolg .....

 

Was kann ich bitte tun, um auch mein zweites Gerät erfolgreich zu kopplen?

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Since the connection issue seems to be apparent only on your Samsung S7 mobile device, this indicates that there could possibly a setting or something related to Wi-Fi connection in the device that's causing the problem.

 

Just to ensure that we don't miss any troubleshooting step along in the process, please try the following accordingly:

  1. Remove your camera entry from the GoPro App's history. 
    • Android: Open GoPro App. Press and hold the image of the camera and delete the entry from your camera history. 
  2. Reset your camera’s Wi-Fi settings using the instructions HERE.
  3. Delete the GoPro camera under the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi entries in your mobile device’s settings before attempting to re-pair to your GoPro using the instructions HERE.

In addition, look for advanced Wi-Fi settings as also explained here: Troubleshooting GoPro App Connectivity Issues
