GoPro hilights transfer to Android

I am currently using a Note 9.

Whenever I transfer the files from my gopro (WiFi or card) the hilights which were done during the filming are removed from the videos when I view in Quik / Gopro App for android

How do I view the hilights in android, and not just for pc?

Re: GoPro hilights transfer to Android

Hi @lam3b0t,

You can do it using a SD card adapter for mobile phones or try this one: https://shop.gopro.com/International/accessories-2/quik-key-micro-usb-mobile-microsd-card-reader/AMC...

You can also transfer them using our mobile app.

If you can access/connect your camera. Just download them.

Regards,

-Jay

Re: GoPro hilights transfer to Android

Hi @lam3b0t

I did a test recording on a HERO7 Black, added some highlights by pressing the mode button on the camera.

Viewed media on the GoPro app, shows the HiLights made.

Transferred the file to my mobile phone and got the same HiLights saved on the file.

For reference, you may check: How Do HiLights Work In Quik for mobile?

Try resetting the camera, then pair it again.

See if this will make a difference.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Ej

Re: GoPro hilights transfer to Android

Hi @lam3b0t

It was done through the GoPro app, transferred via Wi-Fi connection.

Kindly see if this will work on your end.

Thanks!
Ej

Re: GoPro hilights transfer to Android

Hi @aragon1006

Unfortunately this won't do. the reason is i do long motorcycle rides (8 hrs a day, 1 - 2 hrs between fuel stops / rests) and the gopro smart remote disconnects frequently so i can't start stop the gopro.

WiFi 8 hours of video is impossibly slow. I need to transfer the files to my mobile via sd card.

Another reason is because Quik on mobile is much better than the pc version.

Re: GoPro hilights transfer to Android

Thanks for getting back to us @lam3b0t

Try to format the SD card on the camera

**PLEASE make sure all important files before doing so.

You can also try to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Ej
