@bluebeach1382, an update for the GoPro App (v6.1) has been recently released. Please ensure to have the latest version of the app and iOS on your phone installed. Then have your mobile device restarted before attempting to pair the camera with the app again.

Additionally, what's the phone model used and mobile exact iOS version installed?

After the updates, restart your phone and try pairing with the camera again. Connectivity should be working this time.
If the issue persists, reset Wi-Fi connection by forgetting GoPro first from the list of Wi-Fi networks on your phone settings and deleting it from the list of Bluetooth devices. Also, remove the camera from the list on the GoPro App.
