GoPro Hero 9 Black cannot be connected to Mac OS [ New ]

Does anyone try to connect to GoPro Hero 9 to Mac or PC?

I connected to my Mac by USB type C cable and nothing happens in Quik, but webcome works.

My GoPro Hero 7 Black still works with my mac and it starts export all video and photo to Quik application after USB connection.

Thanks for prompt reply, I tried wifi off and checked cable and everything works fine.

I connect micro USB by card reader, mac started import from Hero 9 Black.

I aslo format micro USB and is there anything I can do?

I had the same issue. Change the setting in your GoPro9 on the USB connection from GoPro Network to 'MTP'. MTP is for downloading whereas the GOPro Network is for live streaming. Hope this helps as it worked for me. Thanks

We were able to get to the content like this:

(OSX Catalina 10.15.7)

1. Startup "Image Capture" (OSX built in)
2. Unplug Camera
3. Set Camera to MTP mode
4. Reconnect camera

Toggle "Hide/Show" if the camera is not visible yet

The content shows up in Image Capture and can be imported from there.

I did all of this, and I can "see" the GoPro Hero 9 in the image capture software... but there are no files listed? Please help!
