GoPro Fusion disconnecting from Pixel 2

[ New ]

I'm using V2.0 Beta App currently, The same happened with V1.8. Everything goes fine for around 6 minutes then the App loses connectivity. The camera keeps recording however. Pixel 2 is using Android V10. At that point, it is basically impossible to reconnect without turning everything (cell phone and camera) off and back on then starting over. Any Ideas?

danielr15,

All is well now. Turning the Mobile switch on did the trick.

Thanks again for your help.

Android 10 seems to have wrecked havoc on a lot of Pixel 2 phones when it comes to Wi-Fi.

One thing to check is if your phone settings are set to allow automatic switching to mobile data.
From a Home screen, tap the Arrow icon Up arrow icon to display all apps.
Navigate: Settings Settings app icon > Network & Internet Network and Internet icon > Wi-Fi Wi-Fi icon.
Note Ensure that the switch (upper-right) is turned to the On icon.
Tap Wi-Fi preferences then tap Advanced Down arrow icon.
Tap Switch to mobile data automatically to ON
(if it's already ON, try OFF but ON should be the correct setting).

Make sure all of the apps on your phone that utilize data have the permission to use mobile data.
Settings Settings icon > Network & internet > Mobile network.
Note To see Wi-Fi data usage follow these steps:
Navigate Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi.
Tap Wi-Fi data usage.
Tap App data usage.
You will see all the apps that use data. Individually check each app's permission.
Tap an app (located below the usage graph) then view the usage.
Note To restrict the app from using data in the background, tap the Background data switch to turn off off switch

Make sure that your phone does not have a setting for choosing the best/strongest Wi-Fi signal. If it does, make sure this is turned OFF.
