GoPro App won't recognize my Plus subscription

I recently purchased a Plus subscription but the GoPro app still directs me to the "try it free" page when i go to upload my media to the cloud. I have tried closing the app, redownloading the app, and logging out and back in. When I tap the "try it free" button, it tells me I have already been subscribed but then returns to the same screen again and won't let me access the cloud at all. How do I fix this?? I have tons of footage from my travels and my SD cards are filling up fast!
