The clips are recorded with the Hero 7 Black in 4K 60 fps.
When I edit the Quick Story in the GoPro App, the App crashes very opften. Even the export to the gallery doesn‘t work properly.
I am not sure whether the app can‘t hande the huge dat a amount or there are still problems with IOS 13.

Thank you for the feedback, @blueblaze35108. See how it goes when you update to iOS13.1.
When does the crash happen - is it when you add media? when you save your edit?
See if there is any element that might be causing the crash - like a video that is too short, or too long.
Let us know what you find out. Thanks!

The crash happens during editing, mostly when you jump in the timeline of a clip and when I try to export the Quick Story to the gallery. The export crashes always at circa 30%.
I updated to iOS 13.1.1 and the behavior is still the same. Yesterday I shot some clips in 1080 with 60 fps and the App worked fine. So the App seems to have issues with 4K content. 😕

Thank you for the quick response, @blueblaze35108. A new version of the app will be released soon. Once you have it installed, please let us know if you still observe an issue with editing videos source from 4K content. Thanks!

Next step will be, to remove the app from my phone completely and download all video clips from the camera again. Lets see if this works out.

Sorry about that @blueblaze35108 the fact that the app isn't crashing when you try with 1080p footage shows that the 4K footage is a bit too much for your phone to handle. :(
App will be regularly updates with bug and crash fixes though, trying to improve support of high res files.

Thanks for your post, but I don‘t share your statement, that 4k footage is too much for my phone. I can process the same footage with iMovie on this device and I have no trouble. And the iPhone 8 is also able to record 4k content. So why should the phone be too weak to process the 4k footage? So for me it looks like, that there is definitly a problem in the GoPro App. Maybe there is a bug in accessing the GPU or in the memory management. So is there a possibillity in the app to submit a debug report automatically, when the app crashes?
