Fusion loses connection to App after using the remote

I've connected the Fusion with my iPhone and with my iPad.

When I try to use the smart remote I always have to re-connect the remote.

And after that the connection to the app is always broken and I have to re-connect.

This is very annoying because during the day I want to use the remote and in the evening I want to check the videos/images on my iPad.

I see. Thank you for posting back, @boldbeach60583. If you have not done it yet, try manually updating the Fusion to get rid of any error that might be impacting its connectivity with the App and the remote control. You can follow instructions detailed in this article. We will watch out for an update from you.

Since both the Smart remote and the GoPro app connect to the Fusion camera via Wi-Fi, only one connection could be prioritized at a time. When you mentioned having to always re-connect to either the app or the remote, did you mean you have to go through the whole pairing process again? The remote control and the app are supposed to remember the camera so re-pairing will be almost automatic. Let is know if this is not what's is happening.

Yes, that's correct.

The remote and the phone should remember the connection (and seem to do so), but it is always so that:

- he initial connection with the remote doesn't work right away. I have to cancel it, turn off the camera and remote, THEN I can wake the camera with the remote and everything works.

- after that the connect with the iPhone/iPad is broken and I get this screen telling me how to connect to the Wifi of the cam - but that doesn't work (never) and I have to RESET the camera's connections in order to re-connect the iPhone/iPad

--> maybe the remote remembers the connection to the camera, but the camera doesn't, so I have to re-connect the remote (step 1) and then the whole thing starts again :(
