Downloaded videos as slowmo into my iPhone

For some reason, a few of my videos taken with my GoPro hero, when downloaded to my iPhone 8 plus they came out as "Slow mo", I had to go fixing them one by one.

Did I do something wrong? Is there a fix to this?

@yms5004
If you record at a higher FPS than 60 Quik will recognize it as slomo. So you'll have to change the speed to regular in each clip.

Re: Downloaded videos as slowmo into my iPhone

Hi @yms5004,

Looks like you recorded the video on a very high framerate.

Try to record a video in a normal framerate such as 24 or 60.

You can still record highframerate still if you will slow down the video using video editing software on a computer.

What video editing software can I use for that?

Re: Downloaded videos as slowmo into my iPhone

Hi @yms5004

GoPro cameras create MP4 and HEVC files. MP4 is a format that is supported by many video editing programs while HEVC will need a more robust graphics card to play smoothly. For other editing options on your home computer, we have had several customers give good reviews of Pinnacle Studio HD, Davinci Resolve,  Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premier Elements, and Apple's iMovie and Final Cut X.

For more advance video editing applications, please refer to DaVinci Resolve (Free Version) or Adobe Premiere Pro CC (Paid).

Thanks!
Ej
