Current functions that need to be fixed.

I am currently using Android 7 on a Galaxy s8 plus. I am using GoPro app version 5.1.1 (7727) and I have noticed two things that need to be fixed.

First is the brightness setting in the app. It only goes from zero to 100. I would like to see maybe 25 50 75 as well as 100.

The second thing and biggest thing users are having an issue with is that you can only save content to local storage. You cannot change storage to the SD card.

Regarding the brightness, are you referring to the app brightness or the LCD brightness? I was able to test it and both were adjusted accordingly.

 

Currently, the GoPro App saves only on the phone's storage. To save space on your phone's internal memory, you can move the files (pictures and videos) to the external card once they are imported to your phone via GoPro App. 

See if your phone allows you to change the storage location. Go to Settings > Memory and Storage > Default location and set it to SD Card.

Both. That's strange but if you got it to work then awesome. In my Android app when I connect the camera I can only go from 0 or 100. The display reacts to the app. But I can't choose like 25, 50 or 75%. Only either 0 or 100.

Its is odd, @bills50000. Testing on the camera, the brightness can be adjusted to levels between zero and 100, only the % is not specified. Testing on the app, the brightness can be set between 0 and 100 at 10% increments. Make sure that your camera is updated to the latest firmware, and that you have the latest version of the GoPro App installed on your Samsung. If available, also test with a different mobile device.
