If I got it right, The "app" show all the content that have been downloaded from the camera.
The "cloud" should show the content uploaded on the cloud in case of GoPro Plus (my case). But, I don't see in this tab all the pictures that are in the cloud, I rather see just a few. How is it possible?
Other point, if I got it, all the pictures in the "app" tab will be pushed in the cloud but, once again, nothing happens on the cloud by doing this.
I have now set up the automatic upload straight from the camera to see how it work.
Can someone explain me and give me some details? Because the website explanation are too much high level.

Unfortunately, it does not seem that the current app consistently updates correctly when displaying media that had been uploaded to the cloud (this should be fixed soon). Try going into your app manager and then clearing the GoPro app cache and then restarting your phone. You can always check to see if the media has been transferred my going to gopro.com and logging into the main web page. From there, select the person icon on the top right and then go into My Media.

Have the camera to be always on to grant the upload? Or it will work even though it's sleeping?

Also, make sure auto Cloud uploading is selected in the camera Preferences>GoPro Plus>Auto Uploading ON
Finally, the camera must be plugged into a wall charger providing 5V 2A (1A sometimes works, but isn't as consistent). It works best when connected to the GoPro Supercharger, but this isn't a requirement (although recommended).
