Re: Cannot render Max video in Gopro App

Sorry about the frustration. @deftpike840 @barrys23247
On Android - Version 6.2.2 is now available on the PlayStore - also 6.2.3 is coming up next. We're focused on bug fixing, stability improvement.

6.2.3 will also have the transitions settings for 360 footage and better support for A50 connectivity.

On iOS - 6.3 is about to be published and another update will follow as well. Same focus here with many bug fixing as possible.

Re: Cannot render Max video in Gopro App

Thank you, haindash--

I'll go to the Playstore for the update. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying the camera greatly, and I'm getting better at using the app.

I wonder if there is anywhere online something like a "users guide" to the Gopro app? That would be most useful for new people like me.

Again, thanks.

Re: Cannot render Max video in Gopro App

This has probably been asked before...can you grab a normal still image ie not 360 type photo, from a 360 file....either video or photo? The icon is there but it does not seem to work...there is no NEXT...and I cannot find any of the grabs....

The only way I can do it is to reframe first then grab a photo....

Re: Cannot render Max video in Gopro App

@capediver

Hi,
Sorry about that, it's a known issue - there's a bug report for this issue on our end. It hasn't been fixed yet but we hope to fix it in 6.2.3.

DM me if you want access to a beta (just to be clear the fix isn't in beta yet but it will be when ready) - or you can wait for official update.

Re: Cannot render Max video in Gopro App

Re: Cannot render Max video in Gopro App

Hi @nicedawn20341

What phone and app version are you using?

Were you able to go through the steps on How to Resolve GoPro App Crashing or Freezing Issues

You may also try the steps below:

  • Modify a little something in your project
  • Pause the preview to let it load
  • Make your video a bit shorter
  • Close, reopen the app and restart your device
  • Free up memory by closing all other apps
  • Free up space on your device (if the app crashes at 100% by a "save to photos" it's probably because you don't have enough space)
  • Update your device to the current operating system
  • Clear cache on the app through your phone settings. Just clear cache and not data.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks!

Ej
