As you know, your mobile app doesn't work in landscape mode on iPads. I found questions dated since 2018:
In all of those questions you said an issue were raised or you would let the team know. You also mention that the Android app works, what adds no value to iPad users.
Should we expect it to be fixed or are you having problems implementing this?
If so, I suggest you to either open source the app or crate and support an API so that we can build our own apps
Otherwise, at least include this information when your users are signing up for GoPro Plus.

Sorry about that @livelyoasi07705 the ticket for this implementation has been open and is in the backlog, it's not being worked on at the moment as other topics are the table.

I'm so sorry for your software product team, then. If such a disruptive bug gets deprioritized on their backlog I can't imagine what kind of problems they have on their hands.
Although, from you release notes, it's hard to believe this issue is on your team radar (see image). And just a feedback, I think you could put more love on those release notes. They look like undergrad commit messages.
So, as I don't believe this bug will be fixed any time soon, What's your suggestion for me to manage, update and control my Hero8, and also managing my GoPro Plus media and local media, using my iPad?
Is there another app with those capabilities, or should I physicaly rotate my tablet everytime I open the app?
I'm sorry if I'm sounding rude, it is just very frustrating. I didn't expect a brand like GoPro to be this bad at building software.
Maybe I will apply for that Sr. Director, Software Products position you have open.

We're all trying our best... our Product trying to define what next stuff we should do, our dev to code as fast as they can with their little fingers, our QA to catch bugs before users catch them and yell, and me all in between trying to make sure users are happy and understood, telling Product, dev and QA that WE HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF THIS but oh well not enough time on this planet...
Even our VP is waiting for this feature so have faith :) I'm really good at hoping, that's part of my job. But do join us and do some coding to make it happen, you're more than welcome! In your application, just add > Anaïs asked me to join!

I know, software is hard sometimes. I will keep an eye on your releases and hopefully the team can fit this fix in sometime soon. So far the app works fine other than this bug.

Currently no, we are not working on it. We have other topics that are on the table before that. It's clearly something that is asked by our users frequently and I regularly share this back with the Product team. I am pushing slowly but surely in the background to see how/where this can be added - sooner than later. One step at a time!
