Do you have the latest version of the app?
Have you tried resetting the connections?
If you have access to another phone, kindly try pairing your camera then download some files.
See if the same happens.

That‘s not smart, camera has a temperature between 40 to 45 degrees,?

With the recent app update, your GoPro media is now saved directly to the GoPro App. You have the option to save the media to your device once the media have been imported to the app.
Uninstalling the app is no longer part of the troubleshooting as this will delete files which are not transferred to your phone app.
We do not have any official extreme temperature ratings for the cameras.
If the camera gets too hot, a message appears on the screen indicating that the camera is shutting down. The camera stops recording, saves your video, disconnects from the GoPro App, and powers off. If this happens, let your camera sit and cool before attempting to use it again.

things still not working, after reinstallation of the app, app automtically started to sync all files, at about 400, strange, because only 130 files have not been automatically synchroniced, peak temperature during copying process about 50 degees, objectiv area. After sync has finished, the missing 130 files whrere still missing.
Deleted all files on the SD-Card via app exept the 130 new files.
Tried to start the automatic sync againg, message, no new files on SD-card?
Imported the 130files by manually selecting in the media menue, tried to export it to Quik, Quik crashes severl times? Original video format: 1440/60p
Another question, tried Quik for windows, got the message "have reached the max number of HiLights"?
Have a restriction of 60sec for total video clip length, true?
Win-App is rather sluggish.
Looks like there are a lot of software issues, both in the ios-apps and in the windows app, hope the problems will be fixed soon.

Thank you for the update, @peterj860
Yes, the Quik for desktop application edit is limited to 60 seconds. When editing with this duration set, there is a limit of 20 HiLights.
Did you try importing the 130 files to Quik for mobile? There is currently an issue with adding photos to Quik for mobile app, causing the app to crash. The files you were adding may have included photos which could be the reason for the crash. Our team is working on a fix now so we are waiting for a fix.
