Android 9 gopro app fusion 360

Gopro app worked with fusion before note9 updated to android 9. Now I see the thumbnail pictures but when I try to play or view the screen goes black but the audio still plays. Also, the screen that shows the camera live picture is black but worked fine before android 9. Is there a workaround or should I return the camera? Thank you

I see posts about this going back 3 months ago.
Is there an ETA on an update or fix for this?
I really like the camera but I have to return it if the app doesn't work.

Is this problem only with the fusion 360 cameras?
I'm considering returning and buying a hero7 until this is fixed.

Hero7 should work fine, but you are still stuck with Samsung's crappy and limited video decoders. I had no idea how bad their phones were for video editing until I switched to LG. Samsung phones are pretty and have nice cameras, but for video editing and apps that rely on the video decoders, they are the worst.
