window saying "your graphics device does not support HEVC video.." but it does !
[ New ]When I open GoPro Player (desktop) I get this window.
“your graphics device does not support HEVC video hardware decoding. You may experience poor playback performance. We recommend using a graphic device with HEVC support”
But I do have HVEC support!
I tried resetting it by this method:
Reset HEVC extension
- Open Settings.
- Click on Apps & features.
- Under the "Apps & features" section, select the HEVC Video Extensions from Device Manufacturer item.
- Click the Advanced options. Source: Windows Central.
- Click the Reset button. Source: Windows Central.
- Click the Reset button again.
But no change.
[ I have other problems (see separate posts) which may be related.]

Re: window saying "your graphics device does not support HEVC video.." but it does !
[ New ]I had another problem (couldn’t export, see separate post). When I applied a fix below to that, this problem was also fixed.
So to stop the pop-up window appearing when HEVC is supported:
Search for "Device Manager" and expand the "Display Adaptors"
I disabled each in turn, with the 2nd one disabled exporting works.
