rendering fish-eye to 16:9 loses quality

I'm new to GoPro capturing and editing, so the following may well be a stupid/newbie issue. I apologize, but I did RTFM as well as search forums for an answer, all in vain.
My question: I get great quality fish-eye photos from my new Fusion camera. Because I'm using a chest mount, the back images are all black, i.e. not interesting. However, when I try to convert these front images to a regular 16:9 format using GoPro Fusion Studio, the resulting image loses detail and color. I tried playing with all the available controls--of which there are very few. See attached sample.
What am I doing wrong?? Thank you for any (well: for most) suggestions!
J.

Hi Danielr15,
thank you for the quick and useful response. I did try the Overcapture, but the result is essentially the same once I adjust the FOV to eliminate the dark parts from the blocked rear lens. Not sure what feature you're referring to with "D. Warp" (dewarp?). Don't see anything like that in Studio (I am using a Mac--not sure if there is a Windows version with different features).
It's very possible that Studio can't make sense of the two images as you say. At least I won't waste time trying something that's not possible with this software.
Thanks again!

No problem.
As far as D.Warp, you'll see it in the export settings.
