problems with quik software video playback

Hi there,

 

I recently installed the Quik software in my PC (windows 10 based-64 bit) and proceeded to import my HERO4 Black videos.  When I try to 0view the videos the playback is blurry and distorted with no colors, but sound is perfect.   If I playback the videos using the GoPro Studio software they look just fine so I figure there is something wrong with the Quik app.  If someone can help me I will appreciate it.

I recomend checking to see if you have the latest video drivers installed.

 

Also check to make sure your video hardware supports open GL 3.2 if it doesn't then that could be the issue

I think I have the same issue. The playback and some of the previews are distorted. See attached screenshot.

 

This is Quick 2.1.0.4643 on Windows 10 Home version 1511.

I updated the Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver from HP using their Support Assistant. This updated the OpenGL 4.4 driver from 21.20.16.4471 to 21.20.16.4494. This fixed the distorted playback and preview problem I was having. Thanks!

Hi  There,

 

I'm running a Windows 7 64bit laptop with a GoPro Hero3 Black Edition. When I run Quik Desktop, I can view images but not the videos - I receive audio playback but no visual (it's just a black screen).

 

I have followed the previous advice, ensured that I'm running 64 bit, uninstalled and reinstalled Quik twice, and uploaded the latest version of quicktime player. 

 

Please can you advise?

run the dxdiag so you can see what version driver you have installed.
Typically what you are experiencing is due to outdated video driver.
