open al installed without permission
[ New ]I installed Quik for desktop today. The older/previous version (GoPro Studio) is not officially available.
I was concerned to see another program installed/listed in Control Panel afterward called 'OpenAL'...
I don't recall the installer asking my permission to install a 3rd party application on my machine during the installation process.
GoPro - can you please explain this to me?
So long as I know about it, I can live with it. But i'm concerned it was done without checking with me.
On the topic, the current version of Quik is not as easy to use in terms of editing and editing time lapse images. Why go to Quik. It has some major usabilty issues in my opinion.
Thanks

Re: open al installed without permission
[ New ]
OpenAL is a cross-platform audio application programming interface. It is designed for efficient rendering of multi channel 3-dimensional positional audio.
You can can search for additional information what's the purpose of it. And regarding privacy it does nothing and don't have access to your devices or hardware.
