I have media on my iphone gopro app that is NOT on my gopro itself anymore. I want to bring it into my pc, specifically into the pc quik application.
How do i do this?

Do you see the file in your phone's gallery? If yes, then you can transfer or copy it to your computer. On Quik for desktop, you can select Add Media and you will be given an option to add folder. You can then add the folder where the particular file is and have it Quik. You will find the added media in the Recent tab. Check it ouot and let us know how it goes.

not in my iphone gallery, but i do see in in the gopro app on my iphone. I did not go through and save everythign to my camera roll, bc it would take up double the space, no?
Im not able to see any files when browing the iphone through the gopro desktop app

well i do have a gopro plus subscription, but i also cannot get those to upload to the cloud...
Lets take a step back... i "got" the media on the iphone app by pulling it from the gopro... i then deleted the files from the gopro/sd card to make room for more. So the only place those files are accessible are through the iphone app. Aren't those saved locally? (i did save them to the actual gallery... wouldnt these mean it would take up double the space?)
How do I get this media ANYWHERE else? be it either backed up to my desktop or to the cloud?

@jpgreco1 - What seems to be the issue with uploading the media to the cloud? See if the steps here will help clear the issue. Depends on the media that you saved and the camera that you are using, not all media imported via GoPro App are saved on your phone's local gallery. Which camera model are you using? As long as it is not Fusion, the media will automatically be saved on your phone's gallery when imported via GoPro App and would technically consume additional space.
Have you tried manually saving the media from your phone to your computer (that is, via charging cable)? Once all the media are saved in a folder on your computer, you can then add this folder to Quik for desktop through the Add Media button. Let us know how it goes.

Hi! How do I pull out the footage from the fusion that was saved locally on my I phone? I see the media fine through the app GoPro, but i want it on my home computer now; not in facebook or youtube, i need to edit first and it is for family, not public usage. I see that with other goprocameras the footage is saved in the photo app, but the fusion media is saved on the gorpo app only. Hoe do I take it out?
