gopro studio is no longer available?? [ New ]

Not only did GoPro remove it from the Quik download, our good buddy moderator ryanv on here keeps deleting the link to MY dropbox account where I was trying to share my .exe file. But, I was told the .exe file was only good for my computer. I evidently don't have the installer file anymore.

Just tried today to get a copy of GoPro studio - not happening! Why is this so? It does not download or install with Quick despite what they say.

All of the support pages refer to Studio so this is either temporary, in which case say so on your website so people know what is happening or GoPro have some serious problems with customer care.

This is not the way to treat pepople who support your company. This is my 5th GoPro product, I have been loyal, maybe when it's time to change again I will be looking elsewhere!

I bet noone official replies to this or the other comments ....

There was a similar thread on this forum 3 weeks ago, where a couple of alternative pieces of software were recommended: 

VSDC and DaVinci Resolve

Both are free.

@Anonymous have you used Studio? If you have, can you offer your opinion between the two?

I've used Studio for a couple videos, but the software is acting up on me, and I'm thinking about moving to VSDC.

yeah it's ridiculous. And they recommend using a third party software:

Which looks shady to me. Doesn't even have a https link or a hash to verify the software.

They recommend using quick for mac os which barely has any good features from studio.

The imovie app they recommend for Macs doesn't work on editing timelapse that easy.
