Your other two options are uploading directly from the camera and with the app. To update directly from the camera, connect to the app and then select the cloud upload icon on the main screen (before you go into settings or media preview). Make sure your camera connections are on, the camera is plugged in and close to your home router, You should first try with the 5Mhz, but if that doesn't work, switch the camera to 2.4Mhz. Once the camera is fully charged, it will begin the auto upload.
The app is by far the fastest method IMO. Utilizing the app, allow the it to automatically transfer your media over from the camera. Once on your mobile device, the app will upload to the cloud. You can go into settings and allow for uploading over mobile data if you are not connected to Wi-Fi, but this will use your data.
As far as using the Quick Desktop app, initially it takes longer if you have a lot of media to upload. Once you are caught up, it generally seems to work faster as long as you transfer media and allow the update after each days shoot. Personally, my preference is to use the mobile app. Sometimes I just let the camera auto upload and very occasionally I use the desktop app.

This is not true! I am on the app on a laptop. I copied the videos directly to my computer in about 1 minute. Total file size was 2.47GB. Now 8 hours later, it has STILL not finished uploading to the app...This is rediculous! I will be cancelling my subscription and just utilizing an external hard drive to store my footage. This app needs some serious help!

I used the mobile app last night, it was roughly 6gb. It didn't finish in 10 hours. It was only 1/2 way this morning when I woke up. Don't tell me how "fast" it is. Look at all the posts about it being slow.

The desktop app (mac) uploads are very slow.
I've attached a pic of the bandwidth monitor of my router, while several GB of videos are getting uploaded.
As you see. The bandwidth is not even close to be maxed out.
