Is Quik detecting the camera? Can you see it when looking in Windows Explorer (Finder in Mac)?
Windows has issues with MTP connections. You can visit the Microsoft site to find out how to update your drivers by searching for MTP connections.
Also, you want to make sure you are using a good MicroUSB cable. Try a different USB port if it's still not working. When you plug the camera in without turning it on, does the red charge light come on?
Finally, the best practice is to not transfer media directly from the camera with the cable. Not only does it use MTP for the connection, it also transfers at the much slower USB 2.0 speed. For best results,use a USB 3.0 adapter or even a standard SD adapter. The computer will recognize the card as a drive instead of a device and it will work much better.
