Who thought forcing quick to overlay music was a good idea?

Quick sucks.

I had GoPro stuido on my mac, needed to do something on a new computer and installed quick as GoPro stuido is no longer available.

Who thought forcing music over my video was a good idea????????

I want the sound from the video ONLY!

It's not forced on, it's just the default. If you go into the edit of the video clip you can turn the music audio off and bring back up the original audio.

Agreed. I am finding this a MASSIVE PAIN IN THE ASS.  Auto selecting highlights, auto music, only lettting you work with very short clips, having to import the clip, add GPS overlays and resave the clip is a massive waste of time.

Now, you can't even store the files on a HDD and then bring them back into QUIK, you can only import them directly from the camera. Seriously?

Who thought ANY OF THIS was a good idea?

Where did you get the information that you can only import directly from the camera? This is not true.
