@aragon1006 I have not forgotten about this; it's just been busy with Christmas and New Year. I have some footage that I want to edit, so I will post back when I get that done. For the OS, it's Windows 10.

Apologies that this reply is so late in coming. but here it is nevertheless!
New edits appear in the edits pane of Quik , where I would expect them to be. Here's the interesting part. There is one new edit that is saved in Windows Explorer in the folder that the original media was imported from the camera too.
I also have another edit that is saved in a folder called "Edits" in Windows Explorer.
Both of these edits (in different locations) show up in the edits pane.
Majority of my edits are saved within the "Edits" folder, which is why I don't understand why Quik can recognise only 2 out of 12 edits.

@deanr2309, the media contents that are saved in the Edits section in Quik for Desktop are the trimmed, screen grabbed and edited (via Create) footage/clips.
When you use Create a Clip (trimming) and/or Grab a Photo features, the location of the output files will be saved in the same folder as the original files.
When you edit videos (via Create) through Quik for Desktop, the output files will be saved in the "edits" folder within the default media folder set under Preferences (e.g. C:\Users\<username>\Pictures\GoPro\edits).
I've duplicated this on my end and what I noticed is that, the edited files that are saved in Quik for Desktop will no longer appear on the Edits section once the actual media files are renamed or moved out of the "edits" folder through the file explorer.
Do you remember renaming these missing 10 edited videos through the Windows Explorer?
Also, did you uninstall and reinstall the application before you noticed this problem?
