Where can I get Software that support my camera?[ New ]
Hope you can help me. I am new to GoPro and my 1st camera purchased over Christmas is a Hero 5 Black. The camera is fantastic and the quality of the footage is great. However I am really struggling with being able to use it and share what I have recorded
The main use of the camera is for motorbike track days. each session lasts 20mins and is about 23 minutes of recording. Due to the quality of the videos the 4Gb chapter limit is reached after 8:52 seconds meaning that each session is 3 seporate video clips and is 10 to 12Gb of footage. with 7 session per day this is 70 to 84Gb of footage in a single day
My issue and the help I need is:-
1) What software can I use to put these 3 clips together so that i can upload a 20 minute session to youtube keeping the great GoPro video quality? Do I need to use Quik for Desktop? is there anything else?
2) Is there software or a way of using the devices I have or do I need to by a new device / computer to now support my gopro?
To add meaning to this question.
I have a laptop running windows 7 (not supported by Quik)
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro on Android 4.4.2 (not supported by any GoPro app)
I have an iphone 6 which is only 16GB and only has about 1Gb of free storage so not up to the task of processing 10Gb clips
I have an Ipad Air also 16Gb so again does not have enough storage to process a video
I have an old PC (with a 160Gb of fre space) but is running windows XP
Any suggestions of anything I can use on the current devices I have would be helpful.
If not any suggestion of what new device would be best to aim for to allow me the viseo editing and video joining that I am trying to achieve.
Thanks for your help
