From various post I find online over the past few days it seems that Quik v2.4.x does NOT include Studio and the links that people are posting to prior versions on https://community.gopro.com are being deleted by the moderators.

Very, very poor customer support from GoPro not to post a note about this on the Quik download page.

Quik is not a substitute for Studio for a multitude of reasons. It is useless for longer videos.

Studio was buggy as hell on Windows as it was, and splitting Quik and Studio in the prior version was also an annoyingly stupid move. The whole web site could with a UI revamp so that stuff is easier to find. It's like wading through wet cement trying to locate downloads.

I second the merging idea. New threads on the same topic are being created.

Where is the answer to this question ?????????

Is Gopro answering these questions or is this site setup for people like me to bitch about the lack of support, with no resolution?

We no longer offer GoPro Studio. Quik for Desktop and is our video importing tool. For edits, other tools like iMovie or VSDC can help. GoPro also offers great editing options through our apps like GoPro Quik.

Use Dashware, purchased by GoPro, no?

It's free.

GoPro Quik is fairly useless if you want to make a video longer than 60 seconds. Where did GoPro studio go? My Hero 5 was a waste without supporting software!

Hi @sweetridge34730

You can use alternative software similar to GoPro Studio.

You can use VSDC, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro X, or iMovie.

You can also try filmora.

Please let us know if you need more help.

Best Regards,
