I have just purchased a Hero+ LCD. I imported some video clips using the Quik desktop app, but when they are played in Quik, they have a line of distortion ( not sure what else to call it) that runs along the bottom of the video. I only realised when I put some clips together using Quik, and then saved it. The distortion saves to the edit as well. If I play the clips straight from the import folder on my pc with another program, there is no distortion. If I play the edit I made in Quik with another program, the distortion is there.
I have included a cropped screen grab to try and show the line.
Any ideas whats causing this?

still no answer to this issue? I'm having the same problem.
Videos out or the camera are fine, it's just the video resulting from Quik that has that distortion. Example below:

Mine also have the fuzzy green/ purple line along the bottom of the video in Quik.
Imported video files do not have the same lines, only in Quik... That is when Quik doesn't crash.

It looks like it is a graphics display issue overall, so I would advise to check your systems and switching it back to processing the Intel graphics card.
Make sure to choose the Integrated Graphics and restart your computer afterwards.
