Using Quick destop with Hero 8
[ New ]I recently purchased a Gopro Hero 8 Black. When I attach the USB cable to my (Windows) laptop, it shows up as a USB drive in the file explorer, but this does not work on my Windows Professional desktop. I can install Quick Desktop, and it runs, but will not recognize the Gopro camera at all, even though the camera says USB connected, and the computer's device manager shows a "HERO 8" device. Am I limited to removing the SD card everytime I want to download video from the camera?

Re: Using Quick destop with Hero 8
[ New ]Hello @bennieb7748. Have a go at these troubleshooting steps to get the camera recognized by Quik for desktop. Also, check if using a different port or a different cable (if accessible and available) will help. For further assistance, our Support team can be reached through https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs .
