When i create clips or want to extract a photo out of my GoPro content the app will let you create the clip but gets struck when it want's to save the media and just won't save it at all. Even when you give it a night to let the app process the media.

Sorry to hear about the issue you're having with the GoPro App for desktop. Do you happen to notice any error messages when you come back to check on the saving process, or does the program just freeze up on you?
What kind of computer are you using and does it meet the specs required to run the program?
Definitely get back to us and let us know and we'll see what we can do to help out.

Sorry for the length of time its taken for me to get back to you. This is for sure a troublesome issue that you're having and I want to see how we can resolve it.
A few days ago we came out with an update to the GoPro App for desktop and a rebranding as well. The app is now called Quik for desktop and it allows you to create short edited videos with music and cool transitions.
I highly recommend that you update to Quik for desktop and let me know if the issues you were having persist.
If so we can move forward with seeing what else might help.
Thanks so much,

I am having the same issue as the previous person. I just purchased the new Hero 5 and created my first video on the Quik app. But whenever I go to save, the bar simply does not move. No error message appears, nothing. Please let me know if you have any other advice.
Also using a brand new Macbook.
