Telemetry data not detected [ New ]

I recently purchased a hero 8 Black and Quik isn't recognizing the GPS files. I know the camera is recording the GPS files along with the vidoe because when I use a diiferent software, it immediately recognizes and extracts the files and displays all of the desired parameters. Also Applications>GoPro Quik>Contents>Resources>telemetrydata>DataProfiles Only shows support up to the hero 7. Whwn will support for the hero 8 be arriving? I feel like this should be done in a synchronous fashion with the hero 8 release.

We have received reports regarding GPS on Quik for desktop.
This has been reported to the team and they are working on it.
In the mean time, you may use the GoPro app or Quik for mobile to overlay telemetry.
Other users also suggest RaceRender or Dashware.
