Sorry, i should also have mentioned, still running Windows 7, as refuse to go to Windows 10s do not like the layout.

 

Hard drive is a 2TB. 8GB RAM, i7. Plus 1TB & 300GB external hard drives as well

Daniel, thank you very much for your time and effort of assisting to get to the bottom of this. No disrespect to anyone at GOPro, but their technical assistance is severely lacking. I was emailing Tech Support last week, but thew last i have heard from them was either Tuesday or Wednesday of lasy week, and i have been submitting replies to the agent as i was trying things or as i progressed or regressed in what i was able or not to achieve.

 

It's not very confident inspiring when there doesn't seem to be the staff to deal with our issues.

I checked and Flux was unchecked.

I removed with of the 3 clips I was trying to process, save. Tried saving the single clip of about 30 seconds. Status bat almost made it, but once again it stopped, froze at 97% this time.

What I have noticed with Studio is, it doesn't seem to call on the resources of the computer. The desktop is pretty quiet, no fans or drives spinning up under and form of load. Yet, trying to do something in say another video editing program and the computer spins up into life as it's resources are called on.

I'll have a look at that reddit link Daniel and see if there's anything of note on there.

I had a look at that eddit link, but to be hoinest, that webpage looks like a total clutter, no structure to it, so i think i'll give that a miss for the time being. What happened to the good old forum structure, with individual section and sub sections etc, with Admin and Moderators who know what they are talking about. The only Moderator i have saw on here is Matt.

I got these error codes last night and now the GoPro desktop program will not uninstall or update with a fresh re install.

 

Uninstall gets to about 70% of the way on the progress bar, then GoPro cannot continue, Error 525, so OK that. Then Error 80070643 pops up.

 

Been trying to uninstall, find any parts of the program that are stopping htis for being uninstalled from yesterday evening and it is totally doing my head in now.

I finally got mine to re install. Ended up having to do a windows restore of about 10 days back.

I tried doing various check disk scans, registration scans for any errors etc using the IObit software, which none of them did anything that i could see.

I haven't a clue as to what or whay this is happening but.

 

I couldn't uninstall the GoPro for windows as mentioned above. Finally i got it uninstalled and re installed, but this time, there was no prompt to install Quicktime. Quicktime did install initially 2 weeks ago, when i forst bough the Session camera.

 

Earlier on today, i decide to try and uninstall the programe, GoPro and once again, i am met with these two error codes that will not allow the program to uninstall. I was going to reattemp to install the software and see if it would install Quicktime like it did two week back.

 

Mods, Admin and ideas as to what is happeneing and why thos is happening and what is the workaround to get to the bottome of this issue?

 

Also, i feel we should have someone on here from the development team of the GoPro for windows sotware on here to help us a little better than what is currently on offer in here, which unfortunatley isn't much. No offonce intended to anyone, but without someone who understands how the program works and what could be interupting it, the GoPro customers are banging their heads against a wall of silence.

 

I cotacted Tech Support 2 weeks ago and i'm still awaiting a final reply, as to what is gfoing on wit the program. Not a very professional service when it is taking weeks to get back to us!
