When I put stabilization on, the videos makes quick jumpy moves. The issue is not there when I turn stabilization off but this results in no use of the option of stabilization that the cam is advertised for.

Thanks for your reply
I use SanDisk Extreme 32 GB MicroSd V30 (3)
I tried different SD cards but the problem is still on.

Thanks for letting me know @sunnyriver07700.
May I know if it's happening on the camera playback or on a mobile phone or computer?
Can we ask for sample footage?
Just upload it on youtube and we'll check that.
For the meantime please try to reset the camera and install new firmware update manually.

When I turn stabilization off the videos taken under this mode is played back normally but if course No stabilization.
I will try to put a sample on YouTube tomorrow.
Also will try to install the new firmware although I have no idea how to do that yet.
Thanks for your co operation.

Instructions for installing the new firmware manually are be found here: https://gopro.com/help/articles/how_to/software-update-instructions-for-hero7-cameras
Make sure that the camera is fully charged and that the SD card is formatted prior to the manual update process.
We will wait for an update from you.

So I did all the procedure you mentioned
I downloaded the new firmware for Gopro 7
I reset my cam to factory settings
I charged fully the cam
I put the update files on the SD card
I updated the cam to the new version and could see the update being downloaded on the cam front screen till I got the right mark
I turned on the cam and checked the version and it was the latest one
I tried taking a video with stabilisation on
And the problem is still there
I uploaded the video on YouTube
Again I confirm the problem doesn't exist if I turn off the stabilization but then video becomes instabilitized

Do you have other SD card @sunnyriver07700,
Or if you have other GoPro Camera can you please try that SD card on that camera as well so that we can check if it's the camera or just the SD card because there are a lot of cards right now that isn't working properly.
